Days 1–30: Freeze the facts
Confirm the applicant group, names, addresses, nationalities, previous residences, employment, companies, marriages, children, and intended investment route. Do not start with a random document hunt. Start with a master data sheet. Every later form should use the same facts.
Days 31–60: Build the evidence
Obtain civil records, police clearances, bank statements, corporate documents, tax records where relevant, and proof of source of funds. Check validity periods. Arrange certified translations and legalisation only after confirming the destination authority’s requirements. The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs has separate attestation routes for documents issued in and outside the UAE 1.
Days 61–90: Stress-test the file
Review the application as a skeptical government officer would. Is there an unexplained transfer? A missing address? A different spelling on a birth certificate? An undisclosed refusal? A dependant whose eligibility needs evidence? The file should be consistent before it is submitted.
